Job Description Summary

As a Operations Management Leadership Program and Lean Knowledge Manager you’ll not only manage the talent development programs but also define and implement the knowledge framework that sustains the lean practices. Your mission is to guide and mentor the next generation of aviation leaders while building a robust knowledge infrastructure to support Avio Aero’s supply chain.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Shape the OMLP by managing the strategic growth of our talents. Design experiential and formal training plans focused on lean methodologies, providing opportunities for hands-on learning and development.

  • As a mentor, you will influence future leaders by organizing opportunities for growth and fostering a passion for technology and innovation.

  • Define and maintain a comprehensive Knowledge Management framework that supports the entire supply chain, including managing the knowledge inventory and developing a lean library with standards, approaches, and methods for shop floor applications.

  • Identify and address skill gaps by defining and executing competence mapping with other functions. Develop and implement targeted development plans to build

  • Analyze internal and external business challenges, recommending and implementing best practices to improve operational processes. Manage GE standards analysis, deployment strategy, and cross-fertilization processes to facilitate knowledge transfer.

  • Oversee the release and versioning of lean documentation. Promote both internal and external benchmarking to ensure we remain at the forefront of industry standards.

  • Lead or participate in projects, demonstrating sound judgment and managing complex tasks within operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering domains.

  • Effectively communicate complex concepts, influence decision-making, and guide stakeholders to consider alternative perspectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in an industrial setting, with a deep understanding of both manufacturing and transactional areas.

  • Fluency in both Italian and English.

  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire a diverse team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in defining, planning, and executing training and development programs.

  • Work Visa and in accordance with local regulation is required.
