Red Hat Junior/Middle Project Manager - Red Hat Consulting Services (Saudi Nationality) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Junior/Middle Project Manager to join us and supporting our fast growing CEMEA business. In this role, you will support other Project Manager’s in the region on engagements from initiation to delivery and closure. You'll help coordinate cross-functional teams and establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria and determine, monitor, and review all project economics including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk. As a Project Coordinator, while effectively supporting a project, you will be responsible for helping instill an organizational project management discipline and serve as an ambassador for the adoption of project management fundamentals, principles, and methodologies with Red Hat’s services.

We are looking only for candidates of Saudi nationality. The position is junior/middle level.

What you will do

  • Perform PMO administration requirements

  • Perform project data management and analysis

  • Perform monthly and quarterly revenue reconciliation

  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting around key performance indicators (KPIs) like backlog, GAP, consulting hours, regional dashboards, etc

  • Set up and maintain projects using the internal professional services automation (PSA) tool

  • Interact with the Project Accounting team to ensure correct Oracle setup, data validation, and revenue recognition on projects

  • Work within the regional leadership team and PMs to assist with capacity planning, scheduling and adjustments on the tight timescale

  • Monitor and gather signed timesheets, milestones in relation to budget consumption: and ensure all project documentation is uploaded to the appropriate repository

  • Provide input for improvement and optimization of process and system efficiency

  • Provide service contractual support like amendments and redemption forms

  • Be familiar with systems and tools used by Red Hat Services (Oracle HRIS, consulting Professional Services Automation (PSA - FinancialForce) , Salesforce.com (SFDC), Google Docs.

What you will bring:

  • Familiarity with project management fundamentals;

  • 2 years experience with project management tools, methodologies, delivery, tasks

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and time management skills

  • Familiarity with contractual and financial concepts and terms

  • Understanding of professional services automation software

  • Ability to work on tight deadlines and if necessary, non-standard hours in month/quarter ends

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Dubai, UAE (if based in other CEMEA location)

  • Excellent communication skills in English
