About the position:
This position will be assigned to the Pine Oaks Lodging at Robins AFB. Must be able to frequently handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds . Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching. bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning or moving hands, arms, feet and legs. Lifting and securing safety chains, tow bars, and hooks
Operates a variety of vehicles including pick-up trucks, panel trucks, flatbed trucks, carryalls, sedans, crew cab pick up trucks, jeeps, and station wagons that weigh up to 10,000 pounds. Transports personnel, supplies, materials , or equipment throughout rural and/or urban areas. Loads and unloads vehicles by hand ensuring cargo is protected from weather and properly distributed and secured to prevent damage or loss in transit. Ensures that equipment being towed does not exceed the maximum weight limit in accordance with local and Federal regulations. Performs operator maintenance and washes vehicles. Must have skill in maneuvering and driving vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds. Must have knowledge of defensive driving techniques and regulations. Must have skill in securing cargo for transit and knowledge of vehicle weight limits. . Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier I (T 1), Must be able to operate government vehicles in execution of required duties.
