This two-year Robotics Technician Apprenticeship Program combines college coursework with on-the-job training and mentorship from industry experts, while gaining real-world experiences with opportunity for advancement. Upon completion of this program the apprentice will obtain a Department of Labor Certificate of Apprenticeship, obtained credits toward an associate degree, have a full-time job with benefits and have obtained lifelong technical and interpersonal skills.
Apprentices will have the following responsibilities and learning objectives:
Apprentice will rotate between several areas within the company over the course of a two-year period
Learn how to build, install, test, and maintain robotic equipment or related automated production systems.
Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Committed to attend Oakland Community College or other accredited community colleges.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis to be considered for this Program. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
