Summary: The Manufacturing Technician provides and supports manufacturing equipment, materials and processes to production to ensure products are assembled in an efficient manner, meeting customer quality and expectations and on-time delivery specifications. Responsibilities: * Creates and maintains machine programs and profiles for new and existing product * Aids in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators * Troubleshoots operator problems successfully, work with leadership on training and process improvements * Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leader * Assists in the testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes * Assists in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis * Recommends additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for the product debug areas * Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities * Complies and follows all company security policies and procedures. * Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. * Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Builds stable working relationships internally. * Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. * Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Other information: * 0-3+ years of electronics experience * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Effective interpersonal skills * Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required * Effective organization and prioritization skills * Demonstrate high attention to detail * Ability to work with diverse groups * Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism. * Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgment. * Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools. * Strong customer service and client focus * Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products and WebEx conferencing software * Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required Benchmark considers this a safety-sensitive position.
