The overall mission of this individual is to support the PI and Co-Investigators with successful completion of the NIH Grant scope of work. The Lab Manager / Study Coordinator will work independently to oversee day-to-day operations of the lab and support the primary investigator on meeting project deliverables and maintaining continuity of funding.Job Responsibilities : Manage all aspects of human subjects, including recruitment, retention, scheduling, administering appointments, follow-up and tracking participant compliance. Track and report participant flow through the study. Ensure lab certifications, including IRB and IBC remain current, protocols are followed, and personnel have completed the required training. Oversee equipment and supplies acquisition and maintain inventory tracking system. Administer and track biosample and data transfer between labs. Conduct and support engineering analysis of data. Develop improved systems for data tracking and sharing. Maintain the organization of the engineering and clinical labs and be a resource for lab personnel to find and utilize shared resources. Prepare for and participate in routine lab safety audits conducted by RIT’s department of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). Update and maintain written documents and manuals related to the project and the lab. Participate in staff meetings, and designated trainings. Contribute to building and maintaining an inclusive, diverse and welcoming environment. Interact with and maintain positive relationship with department Operations Manager and other college and university staff. Perform emissions testing and monitor calibration, as needed. Support publications and proposals through data synthesis, graphics and images, as needed. Conduct internet searches to identify vendors, and compare materials and supplies, as needed. Other project and lab management related tasks as they arise. Required Minimum Qualifications :Bachelor of Science in a Technical or Social Sciences FieldTechnical proficiency in programming or data managementExperience working with human subjects

Minimum Salary: 60200 Maximum Salary: 100800 Salary Unit: Yearly
