Summary and Purpose of Position:
Janitorial/cleaning services for the Public Safety Training Facility (main building) and PSTF Fire Training Grounds (secondary building), both located at 1190 Scottsville Road, Rochester, NY 14624.
Functions:
Cleans and maintains restroom facilities, including stocking soap and paper dispensers.
Sweeps and mops floors, hallways, entrance areas and stairwells.
Cleans school furniture, dusts woodwork, stair railings and window blinds.
Empties trash, recycling bins and pencil sharpeners.
Cleans classroom chalkboards and white boards.
Vacuums carpeting and furniture.
Washes wall surfaces, tables, chairs, desks, counter tops and glass areas.
Straightens table and chairs in classrooms, common areas, and cafeteria and lounge areas.
Cleans locker rooms and shower stalls.

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a Monroe County Resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently.
Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
Additional Information:
Job Type: Full time
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
Salary: $33,310.71 with a 1 year increment.
