Pay Rate: $100-$135 per hour

This is a 1099 annual contract position, 20-25 hours per month

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide monthly and ongoing consultation, clinical supervision and oversight to the Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) in the Residential and Waiver Services Programs certified by OPWDD

  • Supervise the development of all Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) being written by the BISs

  • Ensure the BSPs are developed based on a completed Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and written in conjunction with OPWDD regulations

  • Regularly update the Waiver Services Manager and/or Director with regards to clinical supervision and meeting activities

  • Review and approve all existing BSPs annually and when there are changes

  • Participate, as requested, in the continuing assessment of the program participants for the purposes of planning, implementing and monitoring individual plans

  • Provide overall program development evaluation suggestions to the Director or Waiver Services Manager

  • Attend various team meetings, case reviews, home visits, etc. as requested

  • Provide formal psychological evaluations and/or observations as requested

  • Provide in-service training to Waiver Services staff as requested

  • Other duties may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • NYS Licensure in Clinical Psychology

  • At least 5 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism and/or IDD

  • Strong foundational knowledge and practical experience in the application of behavior analysis

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English including interpreting documents such as safety rules and policy and procedure manuals
