Job Title: Deburrer

Job Description

Deburring specialists ensure product accuracy and safety by inspecting finished products to meet client specifications. They perform tasks like filing, sanding, deburring, cleaning, grinding, masking, and polishing parts, and verify parts meet precise standards. Proficiency with manual and electric hand tools is essential.

Responsibilities

  • File, sand, deburr, clean, grind, mask, and polish parts according to standards.

  • Inspect machinery and adjust when problems arise.

  • Recheck parts for accurate specifications after performing necessary actions.

  • Utilize manual and electric hand tools effectively.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in deburring, polishing, grinding, and metal finishing.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Proficient use of hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in deburring preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail.

Work Environment

The company is a contract manufacturer creating precision parts for the aerospace, aircraft, medical, and precision manufacturing industries. There are two openings on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4pm, with mandatory overtime currently in effect. Most employees either start at 6am or stay an hour late during the week for overtime, and work from 6am to 12pm on Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00
