Job Description:

Summary:

This position partners closely with divisional executives, cross-functional partners, senior leadership, supporting the Finance divisions strategic activities and specified business initiatives. In addition, this role is responsible for internal and external financial related presentations and communications. This role is self-directed and heavily involved with high-level, confidential strategic activities throughout the organization.

Essential Accountabilities:

Proactively manages and supports the accumulation of and preparation of divisional presentations, including, but not limited to the Board of Directors, Finance & Investments Committee, S& P Global Ratings, Department of Financial Services and others as assigned.

Collaborates with key partners on divisional presentations and assists with development of appropriate commentary using Key Performance Indicator's, such as actual vs. budget, year on year, peer comparisons.

Prepares complex analytical schedules, gathers, prepares and assists in developing intricate financial analysis, which detail a multifaceted financial story.

Leads and supports identified divisional initiative efforts, proactively assesses and mitigates risk. Includes the coordination of cross-divisional teams, as appropriate, key stakeholders, and business partners.

Defines, maintains, and coordinates the annual comprehensive Finance calendar on behalf of CFO including division-wide milestones, strategic initiatives and major deliverables.

Manages deliverables through all phases from start to end and acts as a liaison between owners and other involved in deliverables.

Acts as a central point for all divisional lines of business, providing oversite and governance into all strategic initiatives and activities though project management delivery and support.

Oversees the development and analyses of supporting financial schedules, including preparation of worksheets, maintenance of appropriate backup and documentation for internal control and auditing purposes.

Collaborates with the planning and coordination of divisional events, as assigned.

Identifies, develops and implements process improvement that utilize systems, processes to their full potential.

Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Six (6) years of experience in project management, finance, accounting, business operations or related field.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field. In lieu of degree, six (6) years of experience required.

Experience in the healthcare or health Insurance industry is preferred.

Experience and understanding of financial statement and ability to interpret and translate financial information and data to ensure various audiences can understand.

Enhanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to facilitate meetings in different across all forums and levels within an organization.

Strong ability to proactively builds and fosters collaborative partnerships throughout the organization to achieve common goals.

Ability to document clear meeting notes, track risk, issues and action items.

Strong, persuasive written and oral communication skills, with the advanced ability to present information in a clear and concise manner across all levels in the organization.

Ability to work independently and manage the prioritization of competing priorities.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal, executive presence, organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.

Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.

Compensation Range(s):

Grade 208: Minimum $67, 538 - Maximum $124, 925

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
