University of Rochester Perioperative Flex Team - Registered Nurse, Level II in Rochester, New York

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is a dynamic nurse that is flexible and independent while remaining team-oriented. Nurses will take assignments in various areas within the perioperative service which include the Strong Surgical Center (SSC), the second-floor surgical center, PACU (post anesthesia care unit) as well as supporting the Neurovascular OR Team with moderate sedation and circulating. This unique position requires strong assessment, critical thinking and organizational skills. A willingness to work in varied settings and flexibility to changing needs of the assignment within a shift are essential. ACLS/PALS required within one year.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $ 34.50 - $ 44.85 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Schedule: FT position available, D/E, primarily weekdays with occasional weekend/holiday requirement per service needs. 8/9/10/12 hour shifts available, self-scheduling W/E contract available
