JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement Coordinator will handle and execute the organization's purchasing decisions, while maintaining adequate stock levels and staying within budget. Oversee the ‘procure to pay’ process of issuing purchase orders and in turn, ensuring goods and services are received on time and in full. The coordinator will also be responsible for tactical quoting entailing sourcing & negotiations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Commercial tactical sourcing for Point-of-Sale Merchandise (POS), including:

• Learn and understand the product development process and use cases for POS merchandise.

• Daily coordination with the Trade Marketing team (key business stakeholder) on programming needs and timelines

• Weekly coordination with primary fulfilment agency on sourcing, tracking, and on-time delivery of goods

• Conduct 3rd-party bids to preferred vendors on all products according to Procurement Policy

• Manage logistics communications between 3rd party vendors and primary fulfillment agency.

• Cultivate and maintain vendor relationships pertaining to POS goods.

• Attain annual savings targets, track savings, and report monthly.

• Act as subject-matter-expert and point-person for SAP Concur Purchase Order system.

• Assist Commercial Procurement Specialist with managing procurement tasks within the Commercial office, including:

• Policy management

• Company-wide training and communication efforts

• Analytical support on spend and savings

• Monitor open order reports, off-site inventory reports and daily/weekly reports to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.

• Liaison between organization and vendors/agencies.

• Work with Category Managers to resolve invoiced pricing discrepancies.

• Work with internal stakeholders to develop planning needs/forecasts.

• Build relationships with existing vendors and identify new vendors to service emerging needs.

• Compare pricing and services to pursue the most profitable course in line with business objectives; continuously look for areas where costs can be reduced without sacrificing quality.

• Gather and maintain metrics and data which support purchasing decisions.

• Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.

  EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Degree in business, procurement or project management preferred.

• 3-5 years in product development, merchandising, sourcing, or procurement

• Excellent communication skills

• Self-organized and highly attentive to detail

• Able to work in a fast-paced and semi-autonomous environment.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.

  In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $58,700 -$78,300, not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to enable future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package!
