Prime Care Coordination Production Manager in Rochester, New York
Overview:
Manages the day to day operations of production to include, but is not limited to: Production scheduling to meet all customer needs, direct supervision of Assistant Production Managers and Relief Production Workers. Interfaces with all relevant departments within Unistel to ensure timely and accurate operations of production.
Responsibilities: ( Specific responsibilities to include, but are not limited to):
Coordinates activities of production floor, warehouse, shipping and receiving.
Ensures that all production, quality, and participant needs are met at all Unistel locations. Ensure all Unistel goals and objectives are met.
Supports Assistant Production Managers in the execution of daily production operations including, but not limited product change over, order fulfillment, material replenishment with utilizing a fork lift and support of relief production workers.
Customer Service as required.
Completes performance appraisals as scheduled and is responsible for all aspects of supervision including disciplinary procedures when necessary.
Coordinates and approves time off requests for all assigned staff.
Hiring staff for relevant vacant positions.
Provides relevant in-service training to assigned staff. Ensures assigned staff is compliant with all required training.
Assists with cross coverage of other Unistel activities to maintain quality services.
Attends mandatory education and training sessions, as required.
Adheres to all CDS Monarch policies and procedures.
Responsible for the execution of fundamentals that apply to food safety and food quality within the SQF program.
Verifies all SQF documentation is complete and accurate daily, verifying with visual inspections of documented areas.
Essential Academic and Experience Requirements:
Associates Degree plus two years industrial experience in a supervisory capacity required or a bachelor’s degree in an area of concentration relevant to manufacturing.
The ability to lift 50 pounds dead weight.
Valid NYS Driver’s License.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work independently and motivate others.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. dead weight.
Maintain all required certifications/training by State regulations and CDS Monarch policy.
