OLED Technologies LLC Quality Manager in Rochester, New York

QUALITY MANAGER

Overview

Technology moves fast. We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our team who will focus on improving processes and sustaining high quality production in our fabrication and R&D labs.

What You'll Do Every Day

You will ensure overall product and process quality in our Rochester division. Using both hands-on and theoretical knowledge, you will help us to improve our quality system, while looking ahead as we grow to determine what we will need to maintain the highest level of quality. You will Manage our Quality Management System to continue to meet customer expectations, you will help us satisfy all requirements for a variety of certifications (for example ISO9001, IATF 16949), manage document control, vendor quality, quality control, and respond to any customer concerns. Our Quality Manager will provide guidance to team members, Project Managers, and work closely with Human Resources.

You will work collaboratively with other leaders to strategize, set goals, and work toward the achievement of Company objectives.

Skills You Must Bring

You have at least 5 years of recent and relevant experience with all Quality related functions. You have a bachelor's degree in the field of science, technology, business, or related field and ideally have worked in a manufacturing environment. You have a strong knowledge of managing QMS processes, experience with TQM (total quality management), and a Six Sigma certification (or something similar/applicable). You have either created and managed or worked closely with a team who has created and managed company wide training related to quality. New product integration, change control, and ISO Certifications are all areas of strength for you. In addition to this experience, you must have an extremely high level of attention to detail, excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, the ability to communicate proficiently, and change gears often. If you speak German, that is a plus - but we need you to be able to speak and write fluently in English. If you have a general understanding of OLEDs and organic/inorganic materials that is also a huge benefit to us!


This position is mainly on-site in Rochester and offers the flexibility to work remotely on an occasional basis. Travel will not be regularly part of this position, but the ability to do so is needed. We have a hard working and fun team here, consider joining our team today!
