Adecco US, Inc. School Registered Nurse (RN) in Rochester, New York

This is a private, non-profit agency and is regarded as a leader in providing education, residential programs and other services for individuals with disabilities. The Center was the first in the nation to have a sensory room, and opened the first group home in New York State for children and youth with significant behavior management needs.

Location:

  • 1st Location: 1000 Elmwood Avenue – preschool students – 3-5 years old

  • 2nd Location: 1000 Elmwood Ave, 101 East Henrietta Road and 2617 East Ave (preschool and school age students – 3-21 years old).

*The float RN can go to all 3 campuses or someone who wants an office type job in Elmwood, checking in on students, injuries, schedules, etc.

*100-150 students

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of nursing experience

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

  • Personal passion or experience

  • Compassionate and caring

  • Patience (especially at the Rush house)

  • Initiative

  • Team player (they are a very tight-knit family)

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday

  • Can start between 7:30am and 8:15 am (Would work 7-8 hours a day, 35 0r 40 hours per week total - Candidate can decide)

  • No On-Call!

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $30-$33.66 per hour depending on experience and education

  • PTO: 4 weeks of vacation time; 3 personal days and accrued sick time annually; 14-16 paid holidays off per year

**Nuance: follows school calendar plus extended school year (summer school); has 4 weeks of UNPAID time off each year (2 weeks before and after extended school year).

**Spring break is paid.

Pay Details: $33.00 to $34.00 per hour
