Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to join our Bridge Sector in the Rochester area. The incumbent candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a broad portfolio of exciting projects both locally and across the United States.Responsibilities & QualificationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Structural design for structures such as bridges, viaducts, dams, locks and tunnels, using a variety of materials, including steel, concrete, precast concrete and timber.
Development of design concepts and reports.
Preparation of drawings for projects and assignments of varying complexity and scope in accordance with standards (i.e., AASHTO, NYSDOT, NYSTA) and department procedures.
Functions in a key technical role in both conventional and alternative delivery bridge projects.
Ability to lead multi-discipline bridge projects for public sector clients.
Proposal development/preparation.
Assures the timely delivery of quality work products and services.
Work with Clients such as New York State DOT, New York State Thruway Authority, New York Power Authority (Canal Corporation) and various counties throughout New York State; and design/build contractors.
Active participation in business development.
Presents and/or assists at public presentations on technical/design issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required from an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc (EAC/ABET).
Master's Degree would be considered a plus.
8 - 12+ years of structural design / management experience in bridges and specialty structures; Design-Build experience is a plus.
Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in NY or be able to be licensed in NY.
Proficiency with computer analysis and design software; Experience with MicroStation a plus.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of$97,000 - $146,000 annually for this position and local market.
