Function of Position:
Responsible for the daily operations of the Campus Center, Clubs and Organizations, Terrace Events and Campus Events on Brighton, Downtown, and Applied Technology Campuses.
Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
Event Management
With direction from the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development Director, oversee conference rooms, meeting rooms, student club and organization offices, lounge spaces, and event spaces
Act as the primary liaison to Facilities regarding issues between the Brighton and Downtown Campus Centers and additional departments including Building Services, Conferences and Events, Facilities, Grounds, Public Safety, and Safety and Hazard Prevention
Reserve and coordinate event setups in the Forum, Brick Lounge, Terrace Lounge, and all Campus Center and Student Association events on the Brighton campus
Serve as the Student Life Representative on the Campus Events Committee
Support the Program Coordinator for the Creative Arts Program
Collaborates on Event Ticketing
Coordinate school reservations and Children's Play operations
Coordinate Club Office Key distribution and oversight
Project Planning, Event Planning, and Travel
Responsible for the Campus Center's project planning and management
Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the Campus Center in conjunction with Building Services' staff
Responsible for the planning, oversight, and collaboration of the E-Lounge, E-Sports Lounge, and the Break Room Lounge
Support the Dwight Food cupboard through stocking, receiving and shipping. upkeep, and cleaning
Assist the Office of Student Life for Clubs and Organizations with event and travel arrangements, van reservations, and lodging
Organize community vendors who support student clubs and organizations
Campus Promotions and Postings
In collaboration with Public Safety, uphold and maintain the Campus Posting policy
Supervise the campus-wide posting of promotional materials through the following mediums: flyers, posters, poster boards, easels, displays, and tent cards
Create, develop, and organize the college-wide distribution of Stall Talk
Maintain Student Club and Organization websites
Office of Student Life and Leadership Development Operations
Serve as the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development Representative on committees including Operations and Facilities Committees
Collaboratively drive joint projects with Operation personnel from the Downtown Campus
Assist with the development and implementation of the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development's annual goals, budgets, and mission

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years relevant experience including but not limited to operations and event management, facilities maintenance, recreational management, and/or student life. A combination of an Associate's Degree and relevant experience will be considered.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to provide exceptional customer service to the college community in a reliable manner.
Demonstrated computer software skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook, internet familiarity, and additional applications.
Collaborative and hands-on approach to problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous academic institution experience.
Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently
Additional Information:
Salary: Salary is determined based on experience, internal equity and college budget. This position has a range of $35,000 to $40,000 and is based on these mentioned factors.
