Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team at our Rock Hill, SC Distribution Center. This position works the day shift supporting our daily user activities and is the front-line support for computer hardware and software needs. You’ll be troubleshooting, responding to questions, and finding solutions to technical issues. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in projects, improve our documentation, and work on our processes and knowledge base. The ideal candidate has a technical mindset, loves to troubleshoot and problem solve, and has experience working with a range of devices. This position collaborates with other IT team members including security, networking, infrastructure, and systems. Candidates need to be able to cross-train and rotate job functions to gain a broader perspective and breadth of expertise and to provide the Service Desk with more flexibility in meeting support needs. Additionally, this position requires the ability to pursue training in order to develop additional skills which are required to provide support in our environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incident tickets, radio, email, and personal requests for technical assistance. Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair systems, hardware, peripherals, printers, wireless devices, and applications. Including but not limited to Windows 10, Client Access, Client/Server software and other locally installed applications.

  • Assist with moving IT-supported equipment for user and/or workstation relocation requests.

  • Perform new system deployment and replacements

  • Perform diagnostic, troubleshoot and fix computers, printers, tablets, handheld mobile devices, and related infrastructure components.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications:

  • 2 years PC support experience in an enterprise environment

  • 3 years experience with Windows Operating Systems and Office applications (Windows 7/10)

  • Advances hardware and software troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent analytical, logical and time management skills

  • Prior experience with IT equipment
