Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, the nation's largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Inside Sales Representative at our business unit headquartered in Rock Hill, SC. Specific job responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Taking care of our Customers by effectively managing the inquiry process & communication throughout the pre-sale cycle. Specific duties include managing the bid calendar, organizing inquiry requirements to support the regions sales strategy, tracking inquiries from bid to order, order entry & acknowledgement, contract reconciliation, rebate tracking and coordinating project transition to sales-service team.

  • Assisting Regional Commercial Manager(s) on bids, orders, and other pre-sale requirements as needed.

  • Position will require limited travel.

    Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma & 1 year or more experience in Sales or Customer Service

  • 1 year or more experience with MS Office; excellent computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years or more experience in Sales or Customer Service

  • Experience using an ERP/CRM
