Atlantic Health System Registered Nurse, Per Diem, PACU, Ambulatory Surgery Center at Rockaway in Rockaway, New Jersey
Atlantic Heath System is seeking an experienced RN to work per-diem for the PACU/Preop/Phase II Recovery at the MMC Ambulatory Surgery Center in Rockaway, NJ to work variable shifts between the hours of 6AM - 6PM. This per diem must also be willing to travel to our other surgery center in Morristown, NJ as needed.
Principal Accountabilities:
Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports in EPIC.
Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
Records patient vital signs and medical information.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
MSN preferred
BSN preferred
Minimum Experience:
1+ years of experience in PACU required
Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required
BLS required
ACLS required
PALS preferred
CPAN preferred
