West Virginia Employer Supply Chain Manufacturing Specialist in Rocket Center, West Virginia

Job Duties: Identify raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules Generate purchase requisitions to support future build needs Track material quality and initiate actions to extend or eliminate expiring material Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production areas Coordinate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to ensure appropriate quantities of materials are always on hand Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process Able to plan and prioritize material resources to ensure Operations needs are met Able to resolve complex issues in a creative, analytical manner Has strong organizational and interpersonal skills Can help identify risks and determine mitigation strategies and has a mindset of continual improvement This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. Basic Qualifications for Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 2): This role places a strong emphasis on skills and experience. We will consider candidates who meet one of the following criteria: a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6+ years' experience preferably in a manufacturing facility or a closely related field; a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' experience preferably in a manufacturing facility or a closely related field or a master's degree with 0 years of experience in preferably in a manufacturing facility or a closely related field MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite Basic Qualifications for Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 3): This role places a strong emphasis on skills and experience. We will consider candidates who meet one of the following criteria: a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 9+ years' experience preferably in a manufacturing facility or a closely related field; a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years' experience preferably in a manufacturing facility or a closely related field or a master's degree with 3 years of experience in preferably in a manufacturing facility or a closely related field MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling, production control and manufacture of products Experience with raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules Experience with purchase requisitions DoD US Secret Clearance Salary Range: $62,200 - $93,400 Salary Range 2: $76,600 - $115,000
