Northwest Farm Credit Services Credit Analyst in Rocklin, California

We serve customers in 59 locations throughout the West. We are in search of a Credit Analyst to join our Credit Department in Rocklin, California. This full-time position reports to the Senior VP Regional Underwriter and collects, reviews, and analyzes various financial documents used in loan structures and approvals. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period. Compensation Information The Base Salary for this position is $58,000 - $88,000, depending on experience. Position is eligible for an annual incentive program in addition to the base compensation. Job Requirements The Credit Analyst performs a variety of functions including, but not limited to: Ability to spread financial information, including: balance sheet, tax return, borrower or accountant-prepared statements Knowledge of financial analysis, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet analysis, profitability, liquidity, and solvency analysis Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), taxation, legal forms of organizations, and business law Knowledge of financial modeling techniques and preparation of pro forma financial statements Ability to perform discounted cash flow analysis, capital budgeting (internal rate of return, net present value, etc.), and equity valuation calculations Ability to incorporate information from many sources to identify underwriting risks and articulate a concise recommendation Knowledge of complex lending, financial structuring and credit arrangements, and bank products Solid understanding of credit underwriting policies, procedures, processes, collateral valuation, and documentation Advanced ability to use spreadsheet, word processing, and database applications Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, oral and written communication skills Minimum Requirements Generally, requires a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Business, Accounting, Economics or related field with 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
