Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in the Hi Tech Engineering industry, located in ROCKVILLE, Maryland, United States. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be tasked with a variety of accounting responsibilities, including handling both accounts payable and receivable, utilizing Netsuite and other accounting software systems, and working primarily on-site with the option for remote work once a week.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Utilize Netsuite and other accounting software systems for financial tasks

• Engage in accounting functions such as auditing and billing

• Regularly update and maintain accurate records for all customer accounts

• Respond to and resolve any customer inquiries in a detail oriented manner

• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate action when necessary

• Work in a hybrid model with the majority of the work being on-site and remote work once a week

• Use ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in various accounting tasks

• Perform additional duties as needed to support the financial operations of the team. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of detail oriented experience in the field of Accounting.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a critical requirement.

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with Ceridian is mandatory.

• The candidate should have proficiency in Concur.

• Comprehensive understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.

• Mastery of Accounting Functions is a must.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• The candidate should have experience in Auditing.

• Experience in Billing Functions is essential.
