Robert Half HR Generalist in Rockville, Maryland
Description We are on the lookout for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team based in Rockville, Maryland. The primary focus of this role is to support our group through a restructuring process, providing a range of HR responsibilities. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage benefits for employees.
• Process documents for Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other leaves of absence.
• Address and manage workman's compensation situations.
• Act as a backup to the payroll administrator when necessary.
• Utilize ADP software for various HR functions.
• Maintain compliance with HR policies and regulations.
• Manage employee relations and address any issues that may arise.
• Handle HRMS and ATS systems.
• Contribute to the administration of compensation.
• Assist in the implementation of About Time and Ceridian systems. Requirements • Proficient in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Familiarity with Ceridian and HRMS software
• Ability to use About Time for task management
• Understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
• Knowledge in Compliance best practices for HR
• Strong skills in Employee Relations
• Prior experience as an HR Generalist
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity
