As a Test Equipment Engineer, your role will have a significant impact on the company. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the successful execution of projects, meeting customer requirements, and driving innovation. By effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will help define project requirements, specifications, and timelines. Your strong proficiency in test engineering will enable you to deliver validated quality products that meet industry standards and regulations. By identifying and implementing process improvements, you will enhance efficiency and productivity within the team and contribute to the overall success of the company.

The position will be based at our Rocky Mount, NC facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support for Aerospace Production & Test teams

  • Maintaining Certified Test Equipment – Electronic & Hydraulic

  • Teaming and Leading Corrective Actions

  • Trouble Shooting Analysis

  • Test Equipment Design – Electronic & Hydraulic

  • Teaming and/or Leading

  • Integration, Verification, Validation, and Certification of new test equipment brought into the facility

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • 1 year of Test Engineering experience

    WE VALUE

  • Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical or Mechanical)

  • Certification and/or 3 years work experience Electrical or Mechanical

  • Experience in test and test equipment support, troubleshooting abilities, with either electronic and/or hydraulic knowledge.

  • Exposure and understanding of analog and digital test equipment.

  • Exposure to National Instruments Lab View software development languages

  • Motivated hands-on people to drive improvements in a challenging environment.

  • Provide clear and concise communications.

  • Ability to juggle many priorities and competing demands easily and effectively.

  • Ability to focus on important information and identify key details.

  • Project management experience

  • Microsoft Office Experience

  • Exposure and understanding of analog and digital test equipment.

  • Embedded GPS/INS expertise.
