Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's total rewards strategies, including compensation, benefits, recognition programs, and well-being initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company attracts, retains, and motivates top talent through competitive and innovative total rewards programs. Additionally, the Total Rewards Manager oversees the HRIS system for compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Compensation Administration and Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage compensation programs, including salary structures, job evaluations, and market benchmarking. Partner with leadership to create a competitive and equitable compensation strategy that aligns with business objectives. Conduct regular compensation analyses to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Lead the administration of annual salary reviews, merit increases, and bonus programs. Benefits Administration and Strategy: Manage the design, administration, and communication of employee benefits programs (e.g., health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits). Analyze market trends and employee feedback to recommend enhancements or changes to benefits offerings. Work closely with benefits providers to ensure effective program delivery and resolve employee issues. Recognition Program Management and Administration: Design and manage employee recognition programs to drive engagement, retention, and performance. Partner with leadership to develop innovative and meaningful recognition initiatives. Monitor the effectiveness of recognition programs through employee feedback and engagement metrics. Well-Being Committee Leadership and Strategy: Lead the organization's well-being committee, developing strategies to enhance employee health, wellness, and work-life balance. Implement and promote wellness initiatives, including physical, mental, and financial well-being programs. Measure the impact of well-being initiatives on employee engagement and productivity. HRIS System Management for Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the HRIS (Workday) for compensation and benefits modules. Ensure the accuracy and security of employee data within the HRIS. Partner with HR teams to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting. Leave Administration and Compliance: Manage leave policies and administration, including FMLA, ADA, and other statutory leave programs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to leaves and total rewards. Provide guidance and training to HR staff and managers on leave policies and procedures. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 8+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, or benefits management roles. Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits programs, HRIS platforms, and compliance requirements. Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and align total rewards programs with organizational goals. Exceptional analytical, project management, and communication skills. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS, SPHR) is preferred. Previous experience working in the Construction or Waste Industries is preferred but not required. Previous experience working with union and non-union employee groups is preferred but not required. Additional Job Description: Base Compensation: $97,500 - $129,000 The base salary range may vary depending on geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.
