How will you make an impact in this role?
PAYBACK Italy has millions active customers collecting bonus points and spending them across a wide range of retail, travel and service industries. The business model generates more value for customers, card members and merchants, often engaging with them via social and digital platforms.
The position will work very closely with Partner Companies and Partner Managers, providing analysis to drive business decisions and ensuring that all the operative processes are handled on a high-quality level.
What you will do?
Analysing customer data to identify market trends and customers preferences
Translating data into actionable insights and recommendations for the Business
Presenting reports and customer insights to Partner Companies
Carrying out data mining projects, developing and maintaining SQL and Python automatic processes and reports
Collaborating closely with CRM & Marketing team both in campaigns setup and evaluation of results
Cooperating closely with other PAYBACK analytics teams in Germany, Poland and Austria
You will directly report to the Head of Analytics and Customer Insights of PAYBACK Italy.
Minimum Qualifications
Educated to degree level in Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Economics or similar degrees with quantitative focus
Strong knowledge of programming languages (SQL and Python) with at least 3 years of on-the-job experience
4 Years experience in applying Analytical and statistical technique to provide data driven insights
Strong communication and storytelling skills enabling interaction with internal stakeholders and partners to present structured messages
Proficient in MS Office especially excel and power-point
Fluent in Italian and English
The role is based in Italy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in working with repositories (GitHub, Bitbucket)
Knowledge of ML Algorithms and their application
Experience in consulting, grocer, telco, financial industries
