Job Details The outpatient rehabilitation sports lead physical therapist is responsible for: Evaluation and therapeutic intervention for persons with illnesses or injuries, which impede independent functioning of mobility, activities of daily living, cognitive thinking, and/or vocation. In addition the sports lead therapist is responsible for assisting the center manager in overseeing the sports medicine program This position entails physical therapy responsibilities in a fast paced outpatient clinic, with orthopedic and sports medicine patient population. Requirements: Minimum Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy NYS Physical Therapist license and registration required. BLS certification At least 2 years of outpatient experience with a focus on orthopedic/sports medicine is recommended. Salary Range USD $43.00 - USD $64.42 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
