Carrier Value Engineering & Cost Out Project Manager in Ropczyce, Poland

We are currently looking for Value & Cost Out Engineering Project Manager based in Gdansk or Ropczyce.

A professional responsible for initiating, leading & coordinating value engineering / cost out initiatives aimed at reducing costs & enhancing product quality. The ideal candidate is dynamic and results-oriented person with good understanding of value engineering principles, technical competences (electronics, mechanics).

Responsibilities

In this diverse role, you will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Manage value engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines

  • Identify, analyze & prioritize opportunities for cost optimization and product value enhancement collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Perform with the team Value Analysis/Value Engineering studies, document areas for improvement and develop cost-effective solutions for both NPIs and sustaining projects

  • Coordinate with HW engineering, Sourcing Managers and Quality teams to implement VA/VE initiatives

  • Transform VE initiatives to projects by preparing business cases and delivering recommendations to senior management and stakeholders

  • Communicate project status, progress, project KPIs to stakeholders on a regular basis

  • Track, update, and present on project savings monthly to key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering or related technical field

  • Understanding of value engineering principles, lean methodology and cost analysis techniques

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information’s to non-technical audiences

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong proficiency in English

  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and complete tasks to best meet organization’s needs

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel

  • Knowledge about Lean Six Sigma process

  • Knowledge of timeline management, project financials, and risk management principals.

  • Growth mindset (naturally curious & strong learning agility).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Localization:

  • Employees must have driver’s license

  • This role can be 100% remote but will be expected to have regular presence at one of Carrier offices, the cadence of which you will align with your manager on

  • Office locations: Gdańsk, Poland or Ropczyce, Poland

  • Business travel (max. 20% of time)
