Summary of Position
The Fleet Operations Administrator is an operations support role responsible for fleet coordination, maintenance, and management. This position is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the utilization of equipment. The position involves budgeting, and managing project and monthly equipment fixed cost and variable expenses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support management with fleet operations
Fleet asset registration and plating
Receiving of new assets
Maintain accurate asset listings
Utilize telematics program to assist in fleet management
Assist with asset disposal and transfers
Assist with asset retirement and auctions
Adheres to purchasing policies, processes, and procedures
Other duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must be a self-started and can handle multiple projects and tasks.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
