ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Software Engineer (Lead Application Developer) at our Roseland, NJ location. Responsibilities: Responsible for collaborating with internal and external clients and leading project team members to identify user requirements, develop architectural solutions, assess design options, recommend solution options, and execute recommendations. Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications across products and platforms for AVS Division. Utilize and develop E-filing infrastructure, including XML-based filings to create e-files to multiple agencies. Develop mainframe Webservices, including JSON structures, and integrate with portal applications. Generate reader and writer routines to interpret and translate JSON data requests. Involve in unit, integration, and performance test code changes to demonstrate that changes meet stakeholder expectations. Develop XML based electronic filing-based processes to allow ADP’s e-filing to the agencies. Work with offshore development teams and achieve smooth project installation. Facilitate internal training and knowledge transfer on applications as requested by management. Analyze and recommend system and procedural improvements to increase user productivity and efficiency.WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience. Telecommuting permitted.
