Description
We are looking for a results-driven Project Accountant to join our team in the healthcare industry based in Roseville, Minnesota. The role involves defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing detailed project plans, and leading project teams. This is a contract position that offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables to align with business goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that include timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and manage project dependencies and critical paths to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Lead project teams, ensuring that team members are aligned with project goals and objectives.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are met.
• Manage changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, Costpoint, Deltek, and Deltek Vision to efficiently manage accounting functions.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Billing Functions, and Budget Processes related to the project.
• Apply knowledge of PMO - Project Management Office principles and Project Management skills to oversee project execution.
• Work on projects related to the construction industry, ensuring project goals are met within the set budget and timeline.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Knowledge of Billing Functions and Budget Processes
• Background in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry is preferred
• Familiarity with Construction sector accounting
• Experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) setting
• Proven skills in Project Management
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
