Job Details Social Worker Responsibilities: Provides psychosocial assessment, screening, counseling, and crisis intervention services based on established high risk criteria and on consultation basis to patients and families, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, which include but are not limited to individual, family, group and specialized counseling. Works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to determine services that will be needed to assist patients and their families in reaching their goals of care, and that promote positive outcomes. Social Worker Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work Minimum of 2 years medical social work preferred New York State Licensure Clinical experience preferred Must display proficient MS Office and strong keyboarding skills Certification as a LMSW or LCSW required BLS required. No online programs from any organization will be accepted. Acute medical hospital experience and/or experience in a health care environment preferred. Salary Range USD $38.39 - USD $53.75 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
