Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Housekeeping Supervisor/room attendant, you will be working with our Housekeeping team providing supervision and direction for all housekeeping and laundry activities of the hotel to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained.

You have a keen eye for detail, and respect the importance that impeccably clean guest room supplies have in a hotel. You can communicate well with guests, and always willing to “pitch-in”, lead by example, and be a team player. You have knowledge of basic sanitation requirements/controls and applications of chemicals and knowledge of policies applicable to housekeeping and laundry especially those related to safety, guest security and hotel property.

You have the supervisory skills to manage the housekeeping operations with the ability to effectively deal with associates, in addition to the ability to continuously inspect rooms and work collectively with the team.

Job Description:-

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Oversees associates of room attendants, house-persons, and inspectors by conducting daily and quarterly meetings, inspecting associates work and

giving guidance so that deficiencies are corrected, and standards are met.

  1. Assist the Housekeeping Manager with the following: interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline when appropriate.

  2. Arranges work schedules, determining days off, ensuring staffing levels are

based on occupancy and/or any current or anticipated projects. Submits

payroll records, correcting errors to ensure pay is on time and includes any purchased rooms, extra cleanup, rollaway beds, etc.

  1. Maintains and reviews computerized records for budgeting and forecasting

of department expenses as well as inspection scores for housekeepers.

  1. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear directions to the

team.

  1. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

  2. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Ensure compliance with

usage of chemicals and wearing of PPE.
