ManpowerGroup Logistics Specialist in Round Rock, Texas
Our client, a leading organization in the logistics industry, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the operations group supporting the distribution team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Logistics Specialist (Entry Level)
Location: Round Rock, TX
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
What's the Job?
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws regarding the storage and shipment of materials.
Manage inventory counts, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions to maintain accuracy.
Oversee the shipment of finished goods and materials in accordance with company policies.
Maintain certifications and ensure all shipments meet DOT and IATA regulations.
Participate in documenting processes and identifying areas for improvement focusing on quality, efficiency, and safety.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 90% of the day.
Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required.
