Carmeuse Americas Marketing Communications Specialist in Rožňava, Slovakia

Within the Communication Department, the Marketing Communication Specialist prepares and manages the communication campaigns for our main markets. You supervise the digital tools management and content creation on websites, creates emails, ads, social media posts, articles and support the organization of tradefairs and events across the region. You will also act as an internal agency member under the supervision of the Group Head of communication and you will collaborate with different teams internally (Marketing, Sales, IT, Customer Service, HR, etc).

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • You copywrite & create content on marketing topics (products & applications, services…)

  • You publish & update content on multilingual websites & social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Meta, YouTube)

  • You create E-mail marketing with internal & external campaigns

  • You lead follow up with Salesforce (CRM)

  • You monitor the e-reputation & other digital KPI’s

  • You organize trade fairs and events

  • You take care about sales presentation and commercial offers design

  • You create promotional and POS tools creation.

Your Profile

Basic requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in communications, Marketing or related discipline preferred

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. You are able to create a marketing communication strategy and to manage the implemented campaign

  • You are open to come to Brasov's office at least 2x/week.

Needed knowledge:

  • Social media, Digital Marketing and e-marketing campaigns have no secret for you

  • Copywriting and content creation

  • Excellent working knowledge of HTML and digital tools like SalesForce, Hootsuite & Drupal CMS

  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator.

Needed skills:

  • You have strong analytical skills and like to play with data

  • Very hands on – operational (“I can do it” attitude)

  • Ability to work effectively in an international team

  • Very good English, both orally and in writing

  • You are not afraid of multitasking and are solutions-oriented

  • Ability to work under pressure and towards tight deadlines.

The Team

The Group Communications team at Carmeuse is a dynamic and collaborative group of six members, with four based in Belgium and two in Romania and Slovakia.

Reporting to the Group CHRO, Frederic Lennerts (https://www.linkedin.com/in/internationalcommunicationexpert/) , Head of Communications department, and his team, all together, they play a pivotal role in enhancing Carmeuse’s global presence.

Their responsibilities span communication strategies, advertising, public relations, and marketing campaigns. By leveraging technology and innovative approaches, they maintain a positive company image and promote Carmeuse’s products and services worldwide.

  • A first "Teams" interview will be scheduled with Olivia. You will take 2 personality questionnaires. Olivia will want to know more about you, as a person and as a professional. She will assess your motivations and answer to your questions

  • You will have a second interview with Aurélie Mordant, the HRBP, and Frédéric Lennerts, our Group Head of Communications

  • The last interview will be with Michal Kondrot, our HRBP for CCE and Timea Barta, our Campaign Performance Manager (both based in Kosice).
