As part of a replacement, Quadient is looking for its future Développeur Backend Drupal (F/H) for a permanent contract, based in France.

General assignment:

About the positionThe Backend Web Developer will design, develop, implement, support and maintain various Quadient websites. This position is responsible for the successful implementation of web technologies and web infrastructure to efficiently promote Quadient’s brand and products to its prospects and customers across the World.As a member of the global web team, this role supports web developers in finding solutions to emerging web requirements using Drupal-based technologies. The Backend Web Developer reports to the Web Technology Leader, who is based in Paris, France.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create custom modules with Drupal 10 to solve business challenges ;

• Analyse and develop web services on server side ;

•  Recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions ;

• Interact with team to gather, define, and analyse requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy business needs ;

• Assist in the configuration of web server settings.

• Technical Skills & Experience ;

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in back-end with Drupal ;

• Experience with migrations from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10 ;

• Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology and Tools such as Jira ;

• Experience with web development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations ;

• Strong working knowledge of and hands-on experience with modern programming languages, including PHP ;

• Experience with CI/CD (Continues improve tools and web development tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker - automating code deployments.
