Schauenburg Systems Lamproom Operator-X10 in Rustenburg, South Africa
Job Purpose
To assist in providing quality services and safe operation of Lamproom equipment and tools for health, safety and productivity in the
mining sector.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent with mathematics and physical science on standard grade (D
symbol)
• At least 1 year experience as a lamproom operator and/or technical type role / environment;
• Basic understanding of lamp room equipment and tools;
• Good computer skills (Microsoft package)

Operational Activities
Performs day to day activities in accordance with the prescribed DMR guidelines and as stipulated but not limited to the mine code of practice.
Provides legal and competent services
Compile and submit the necessary reports (legal documentation).
Resolves all customer complaints and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain and monitor lamp room equipment.
Maintains through and up-to-date knowledge of internal and external procedures, schedules and directives
pertinent to the lamp room, and attends in-service, mandatory, basic, advance and/or specialized training to maintain current and proficiency or learn new job related information and skills.
Maintain housekeeping in area of responsibility.
Liaise with Lampsman to assist in ensuring quality and safety of work and that contractual obligations are met
Liaise with visitors, clients, staff and others to assist with general enquiries.
Support
Provides efficient and effective administrative support and customer service as required.
Keep Lampsman updated of all unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect the customer or our company.
Feedback on a regular basis to Lampsman.
Participate as appropriate in quality programs implemented across the company.

Ensure medical and inductions are valid.
