Insight Global Design Technician in Ruther Glen, Virginia
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified design technician to join a large engineering client of ours. The Design Technician II will need to be experienced in Autodesk Revit, in either an academic or professional setting. The Design Tech will be responsible for the following.
Complete design tasks for typical spaces/scope based on established project standards and task-specific guidelines
Perform spooling (assembly layout) for moderate- to high-complexity scope;
Annotate drawings; performing data entry based on established guidelines and standards; printing and distributing sheets;
Set up sheets; provide support for other basic model management functions;
Create, dimension, annotate multi-discipline drawings and sketches based on coordinated model (e.g. wall and floor penetration, etc).

Skills and Requirements
1-2 years of experience in Autodesk Revit (CAD acceptable for the right candidate)
(Experience can be in school or professional) Bachelors degree or associate degree
Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit null
