What’s the gig?
Komatsu Underground are on the hunt for a mechanical development service technician to be imbedded on site at Moolarben Coal.
How you plan your week will depend on where you call home. You may be travelling to site and staying a few nights per week or driving daily to site if you live more locally to the Mudgee area.
What’s on offer?
Full time, permanent position.
Impressive salary + super for 38-hour week.
Overtime paid after 8-hour shift.
Fully maintained service vehicle + fuel to take home.
Employee retention bonus, $5000 currently paid every 6 months.
Annual bonus based on up to 5% of your base salary.

You'll bring:
Mechanical Trade Qualification.
Experience working underground with development mining equipment.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Able to work in an autonomous role.
Key job responsibilities:
Provide customers with pro-active advice and support
Facilitate flawless start-up of development machines.
Support engineering and be directly involved with machine commissioning.
Provide advanced technical support for development equipment in the field.
Coordinate new product field trials and document results including any opportunities for product enhancement.
Collate field data and evidence for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for major failures and unresolved reliability issues.
Engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to offer solutions for customer needs.
