Description
We are offering an opportunity for a strategic CFO - Chief Financial Officer to join our team in the Rutland, Vermont area. This role involves taking charge of the financials of the organization and leading future financial success. This is a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the organization's financial operations and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, CRM, and other relevant tools to streamline accounting functions, auditing, and budget processes.
• Direct strategic initiatives to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
• Oversee capital management, ensuring optimal utilization of financial resources.
• Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor the organization's financial status and predict future trends.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies for long-term financial goals.
• Assist in the resolution of financial related issues and inquiries from clients or team members.
• Develop and maintain systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Competency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
• Extensive knowledge of accounting functions
• Experience with auditing practices
• Familiarity with budget processes
• Understanding of capital management procedures
• Ability to conduct cash flow analysis
• Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Possession of relevant certification and education in Finance or related field
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior managerial position.
