Shire Product Manager - Genetic Diseases in São Paulo, Brazil
Primary Role
Analyze, plan and implement sales and marketing activities to maximize sales and profitability and meet corporate objectives.
Main role is to plan, manage and successfully implement marketing projects and efforts cross-functionalty. Be diligent in planing, identifying risks and in developing mitigation strategies to minimize possible impacts on the business. Accountable to accomplish the defined scope in a compliant manner and responsible for budget and sales performance.Candidate will coordinate actions with Sales, Access, Legal, Regulatory, Patient Services, and Gov affairs
Responsibilities
Design and support annual marketing plan and its implementation
Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams and operating expenses
Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth
Develop initiatives to optimize therapy access
Understand patient flow and continuum of care
Evaluate competitive forces in market place and recommends strategies to neutralize them
Effectively interact with physicians and key accounts involved in market.
Make recommendations for price setting & reimbursement strategy
Establish and manages effective programs to increase disease awareness and product adoption
Identify obstacles to sales and recommends strategies and process improvements to overcome them
Ensure at risk accounts are identified and problem-solving steps initiated to optimize client retention rate
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers across multiple settings
Facilitate collaboration and communication between all stakeholders and other relevant functions within Shire
Promote compliance with all corporate, procedures and policies.
Develop project execution plans and develops project budgets
Manage deployment of resources to efficiently execute tasks (includes project meetingmanagement). Manage contract, vendor and service supplier
Develop and Maintain Projects Schedule and budget (with support depending on project size)
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Manage product resource allocation
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Education & Experience Requirements
Required :
Marketing, Business Administration, Medical or related degree.
Experience in sales and marketing in specialty pharmaceuticals sales
Fluent English
Desirable:
Master degree
Experience in rare diseases
Excellent understanding of Brazilian health care system (mainly public system)
Experience with inclusion of drugs in SUS and public protocol development (PCDT)
Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver´s license required
