Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a diligent Credit Clerk to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be handling various tasks related to customer credit, including the processing of customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. You will also monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments. This role is within the Accounting Clerk function and requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining precise records of customer credit
• Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitoring customer credit accounts regularly and taking appropriate actions for delinquent payments
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
• Adapting to a variety of tasks and functions as needed
• Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
• Taking initiative to follow up on pending issues and solve problems
• Working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Continually learning and developing new skills as required by the role. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of an Accounting Clerk or a similar position.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with accounting software will be an asset.
• High school diploma required; further education in Finance or Accounting is a plus.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
