Job Description:

Fluor, together with its joint-venture partner AECOM, has been awarded a four-year program delivery support services contract for the California High-Speed Rail program by the California High-Speed Rail Authority, to provide program delivery and program management services to support one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S.

The system will connect the 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region with the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley.

Under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Engineering, the Engineering Track and Systems Lead supports the technical coordination between the Engineering Services Branch and Rail and Operations Delivery Branch and assists with the development, recommendation, and implementation of polices in relation to track and systems engineering standards and technical requirements in coordination with other Branches and relevant stakeholders. The Lead supports planning, development, procurement, design and construction of the capital projects. The individual assists with the coordination between the civil engineering infrastructure and track and systems design, construction and O&M, with a focus on the integrity of civil engineering elements. The employee works in the Engineering Services Branch.
