Job Title: Health and Safety Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team on a 3-month assignment at our SAC office. This role requires hands-on experience with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs, preferably in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant clauses and requirements and prior experience in certification activities. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Hard Skills
Experience with internal and external EH&S audits, surveys, and inspections
Ability to perform audits and identify data required by regulatory agencies
Experience with hazardous waste disposal and regulatory requirements
Knowledge and experience with internal auditing, preferably with ISO 14001 & 45001 audits
Ability to interpret clause requirements and collate evidence for compliance
Experienced in root-cause determination and development of corrective actions
Soft Skills
