Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in Sacramento, California

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II in Sacramento, California. The primary role is to offer technical support in a secure, non-public access building. This role requires understanding and supporting a virtual desktop in a Citrix-based environment, answering IT related requests, and maintaining customer credit accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a secure work environment by adhering to safety standards, including wearing masks and gloves when required and sanitizing work areas.

  • Efficiently handle IT-related inquiries and issues from around 1,200 users, using the Epicor ITSM ticketing system.

  • Understand and offer support for a Citrix-based virtual desktop, even if prior experience is not present.

  • Learn and adapt to the various Court-specific applications run on the desktop, ensuring efficient operation.

  • Offer support for Wyse thin clients, HP printers, and Fujitsu 7160 scanners.

  • Be part of a team providing support through the IT helpdesk call center, open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • Respond to emails sent to the IT helpdesk and provide appropriate solutions.

  • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate customer credit records.

  • Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

    Requirements

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar IT support positions

  • Proficiency in PC Desktop and Workstation operations

  • Strong knowledge and experience with MS Windows 10 operating system

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle user complaints professionally

  • Experience with help desk software and remote support tools

  • Demonstrable knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs

  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions

  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field would be advantageous

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ would be an added advantage

  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
