The Job

The National Account Manager role you will be part of the Commercial Field team working as a Field/remote employee. The National Account Manager is responsible for developing and communicating the overall sales and marketing strategy for some of our largest national accounts. You will also get to:

• Gain listing of all new product launches from PTE and HTAS coupled with a promotional plan roll out national exposure

• Help to negotiate annual customer SBA/VBA agreements

• Work with field account managers to gain understanding of regional and local needs

• Support and communicate with field teams on a regular basis to provide support needed to grow in the field.

• Review business with customer on a monthly/quarterly basis to insure growth targets being achieved

• Microsoft Excel driven with daily promotional and margin reviews to identify value for retail focused customer

• Work with SBD Sales and Marketing Teams to create and drive field programs and events to drive sales and educate end users on SBD product lines;

• Support Product Managers to determine appropriate promotion strategy and NPD launch

• Develop National event promos, flyers, based on customers national event schedule

• Effectively manage marketing, promotional and T&E budget

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or related fields

• 8+ years’ experience in Sales or Marketing focused in the Construction and Industrial channels

• Retail channel experience preferred; Prior Sales management and key account experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook.

• Strong ability to be flexible and adapt to change in business practices, market changes, etc.

• Valid Driver's License & clean driving record.

• Local travel 50%

The base pay range for this position in California is $74,000-100,000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
