Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experience Transportation Senior Project Manager to be based in Sacramento, CA . The selected candidate will have experience leading and advising on major transportation projects and infrastructure programs. Expertise includes regional program management, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and the implementation of innovative policies and solutions. Adept at overseeing multi-billion-dollar projects, fostering interagency collaboration, and driving performance improvements across large-scale transportation systems.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and strategic direction to client leadership on regional matters, ensuring alignment with program goals.
Manage and engage with stakeholders to foster strong relationships and support program success.
Build trust and collaborative partnerships by understanding stakeholder needs, concerns, and expectations, and incorporating their feedback into program planning and execution.
Monitor and analyze regional trends, policies, and socioeconomic factors that impact program delivery.
Offer strategic and operational advisory services to support program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Support clients in the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs, offering best practices and innovative solutions.
Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
Provide support to the program leadership as needed
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
Preferred Qualifications
The candidate must have over 10 years' experience in leading engineering projects with major-project management experience.
PE license in California or ability to obtain.
Ability to scope/estimate complex projects
Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience
Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction
Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role
Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management.
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $200,000.00 - $300,000.00.
