Fullerton Tool Company Inc. Customer Service Representative in Saginaw, Michigan

The Customer Service Representative maintains positive customer relations and attracts potential customers by answering product questions; suggesting information about other products and services; processes orders and assists with customer issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in a professional and courteous manner and ensure all requests are handled promptly and thoroughly.
  • Build positive relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
  • Enter sales orders for customers and test orders for salesmen/reps.
  • Open emails and faxes and distribute them to the appropriate employees.
  • Assist customers with quotations, stock checks, and pricing.
  • Issue RMAs as necessary.
  • Assist with faxing and/or emailing invoices and packing slips as necessary.
  • Communication with Customers and creating contacts and leads through the Hubspot website.
  • Assist customers with crossing-over competitor's products, online chat, and locating distributors in their areas.
  • Maintain customer account info, rep codes, and place out-of-stock items on blue sleeve lists.
  • Assist in many other clerical duties such as data entry, photocopying, and faxing.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area (5S).

Qualifications/Education/Skills:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills required; working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Previous administrative/customer support experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Dedicated to being at work and on time (attendance).
  • Integrity - can trust this person to be truthful, honest, and ethical.

Equipment Used: Computer, telephone, copy machine (including scanning).

Working Conditions: Professional office environment.

Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.
