About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing the software components (detailed design), codes the software components and tests the software components based on the software architecture and the software requirements within a project
Your Responsibilities
Development (design, implement, test and debug) of core and/or application specific software requirements for automotive embedded electronic module serial production projects in compliance with formal ASPICE
Perform complex work assignments requiring independent problem solving and decision making, requiring strong software technical competency
Supports SW PM in the planning. Ensures the scheduling, monitoring and reporting of all software related activities for one or more projects. Additional to the technical leadership of a development team
Able to represent technical topics internally and externally
Participates in customer technical feature design reviews
Evaluation of Customer and internal requirements by conducting the necessary reviews
Experience in code optimization for specific targets and compilers
Able to work effectively in a global environment
Must be able to work independently with no supervision
Must be able to teach and mentor other engineers
Who we are looking for
Experience in classic AUTOSAR standard as diagnose, bus systems as CAN, Ethernet, OS, Memory, Bootloader, ECU life cycle and Network Management
Experience in using AUTOSAR Authoring Tools e.g. Vector & Elektrobit
Experience in Functional Safety environment
Intensive Knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++ for 16 bit and 32 bit micro-controllers including application for micro-controllers such as Freescale, PPC, ARM core, TI DSP, Infineon and Renesas and SoCs
Experience in configuring classic AUTOSAR components e.g Diagnose, COMM, ..etc and developing Application Software components
Working knowledge of CAN/Ethernet/LIN based tools such as CANalyxer, CANoe and CANape
Hands on using classic AUTOSAR Authoring tools e.g. Vector and Elektrobit
Experience in developing Application/lower layer Software components for Embedded Linux. GHS Integrity and/or QNX is a plus
Aware of white and black box testing - Perform unit test using VectorCast & GTest
Experience in disciplined software development process based on ASPICE and ISO2626
Experience in using config Management tools as Github, Code Beamer and PTC
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
8+ years’ relevant product and or technology experience regarding the Responsibility / Activities (listed above) in serial development. Automotive electronic (mandatory)
